Executive Leadership Development

The Executive Leadership Development programme strengthens the strategic, ethical and institutional capabilities of senior leaders. It is designed for people whose decisions shape organisations, public institutions and communities and who therefore carry responsibility for governance, transformation and long-term institutional direction.

The programme recognises that executive leadership requires more than technical management. Senior leaders must exercise sound judgement, build institutional trust, manage competing interests, guide organisational change and ensure that authority is used responsibly.

Purpose

The purpose of the programme is to develop executives who can lead institutions strategically, ethically and relationally. It combines contemporary leadership practice with Ubuntu-informed reflection, enabling participants to examine both what leaders do and the values, responsibilities and relationships that should guide institutional authority.
