Community Leadership Dialogues create participatory spaces in which community leaders, residents, institutions and local stakeholders examine shared challenges and develop collective responses.
The dialogues recognise that sustainable community development cannot be imposed from outside. It must emerge through listening, participation, shared responsibility and leadership that is grounded in the knowledge and experience of the community.
Purpose
The purpose of Community Leadership Dialogues is to strengthen communication between leaders and communities while enabling local stakeholders to identify priorities, examine disagreements and develop practical responses to issues affecting their collective wellbeing.
